For those who look to see the beauty ….

Portfolio

Landscape photography captures the beauty and vastness of natural environments, showcasing the intricate details and broad vistas of some of natures most beautiful scenes. I love to convey emotions and stories through light, composition, and the unique characteristics of each place. I hope you enjoy these scenes as much as I do.

Wildlife photography beautifully captures the intricate beauty and complexity of animals in their natural habitats. I love to be able to document the behaviors, interactions, and moments that often go unnoticed by the human eye in the wild. Through these photographs I tell the stories of wildlife and the environments they live in.

Artist Picks

This group of photos feauture some of my favorite photos, that don’t “fit neatly” into other categories. Each photo tells a story, or depicts a special place, that captures moments that evoke emotions or tell compelling stories. These images resonate with personal experiences or reflect a unique perspective, revealing the interplay of light, shadow, and subject matter.

I wish that all of nature’s magnificence, the emotion of the land, the living energy of place could be photographed.

A little about me

I always had a bit of an artist in me, loving to draw and paint, beginning in high school. I purchased my first “good” camera in the late 1980’s, and fell in love. I was raised in West Virginia, but moved to greater Cincinnati in 2006, so I am a “little bit country, and a little bit city.” I love to take photos of everything, but have a passion for landscapes and wildlife. This photo is one of my favorite city photos, a panorama photo of Cincinnati from the Kentucky side of the Ohio River. Click on the button below to learn more about me.
