Morning Rainbow

It had been a rainy cool morning. I was in the Smoky mountains, Cades Cove specifically, when I saw this beautiful rainbow, arcing gracefully through the sky. The rainbow was so vivid with the striking colors that rainbows have, that I felt so lucky to be there. I was near a field with a lone tree, its leaves shimmering with droplets that was catching the soft light of the sun that was trying to peak out. In that serene aftermath of a rain shower, the landscape unfolded with a vibrant freshness, and I wanted to capture in a photograph that essence of a morning rebirth. Behind the lone tree, a multitude of trees rise, their colors enriched by the recent rain. Above, the sky is adorned with clouds that hint at the storm's recent presence, yet the rainbow signals to us that the sun is coming back out to bring on the day. This captivating interplay of elements creates a tranquil yet exhilarating scene, embodying nature's delicate balance and beauty.
